The kids get an extra 30min for being late, and they also get driven.
Call me slack, but i thought this whole HSC thing was sposed to teach you
responsibility and all that stuff that people promise you when you "try your
best" - but when is anyone ever going to get you a taxi just because city rail
was late ? It always was late, and always will be. If you ask me, thats what you
get for going to a city school just so you can be "pretigious" or going to a
school in the middle of nowhere so you can become a docotor.
and this chick gets a car for over 80. I've heard a tonne of people will
get a car if they get over 80. sure 80 is hard so some people to get, but just
cause u did your best doesn't mean you should get a car. Since when did society
ever reward the guy who finished last, but tried his best?
Parents know it. In wanting more for our children, we lose our sense of
balance: "Sarah is very focused. She might go out occasionally on a Saturday
night but she's always home by 12. She even took her books with her on our
holiday." This is a good thing?
"I'm worried sick about Josh. He's hardly doing any work. Whenever
I ask him why, he tells me there is more to life than the HSC." This is a bad
thing?
Thats exellent =) although sarah sounds like a nerd, and josh sounds like a
hobo.
